Sharon Cuneta to bashers: 'Kindly stop making my kids sabong'
Sharon Cuneta has a message to bashers who have nothing good to say about her and her family.
On Instagram, the Megastar greeted her son, Miguel, a happy birthday and shared a photo of how their family celebrated the special day.
The photo showed her, Miguel, her husband Kiko Pangilinan, and daughter Miel having a meal together. However, Sharon also had choice words to say to people who hurt her family.
"To those who find pleasure in hurting the feelings of my family members, please, tama na. Nananahimik kaming lahat and they don't deserve any negativity," she wrote.
"Tanggap ko na habangbuhay hati ang katawan ko kasi naging 2 ang pamilya ko. Pero ako ang nahihiya sa mga anak ko kasi nadadamay sila just because I am their mommy... it hurts me."
Before marrying Kiko, Sharon's former husband was Gabby Concepcion. They have a daughter, KC.
Sharon appealed to the public to stop pitting her kids against each other. Aside from Miel and Miguel, Sharon has another daughter with Kiko named Kakie.
"And please I am not a 'mamananggal!' Please, kindly stop making my kids sabong or pinagaaway di naman sila mga manok. Ngek. Peace na please. Pis b widju en olso wid us," she said.
Previously, KC unfollowed her stepfather Kiko and half-sister Kakie on Instagram. Sharon admitted she was hurt by what happened, but she and KC had a tearful reunion during the rehearsals for "Dear Heart" concert.
The show was also a reunion between her and Gabby. KC also graced the stage together with her parents.
According to Sharon, the reunion concert had her family's blessing.
"Never ko sana nagawa ang shows namin ni Gabby without my husband and kids' approval," she said. "They were the first to congratulate me after MOA! Malawak kasi isip ng pamilya namin sorry naman! Proud sila of me!"
