Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla reunite: 'Your forever Carding and Monique'

The original Carding and Monique have reunited!

Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla, stars of the 1991 film “Maging Sino Ka Man,” met up at the 42nd anniversary celebration of Viva Entertainment.

On Instagram, Sharon shared their photos together, and said, “Happy 42nd Anniversary to our Viva Entertainment family!!! From your forever Carding @robinhoodpadilla and Digna/Monique !!! We love you!!!”

Based on Sharon's other post, she and Robin also performed together.

"With Sen. @robinhoodpadilla singing the timeless, walang kamatayang biggest hit pa rin ng Viva Films na ‘Maging Sino Ka Man!’”

The Megastar also teased, “Parang punong-puno ang kalendaryo ko sa 2024…” she said with a winking emoji.

“Maging Sino Ka Man” is now considered a Filipino pop culture classic. Sharon played Monique, who escapes her abusive stepfather and assumes a new identity as Digna. As fate would have it, she meets Carding—played by Robin—a petty thief, and they fall in love.

“Maging Sino Ka Man” was recently remade into a GMA Network series starring Barbie Forteza as Monique and David Licauco as Carding.

Meanwhile, Sharon is fresh from a successful reunion concert with Gabby Concepcion, titled Dear Heart. The former on- and off-screen partners are set to bring the concert to Cebu on November 17.
