Heart Evangelista, Marian Rivera, other artists attend Felipe Gozon's 84th birthday party

Many Kapuso artists and celebrities joined the celebration of GMA Network chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon's 84th birthday held at the Isla Ballroom of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel on Saturday night.

On Instagram, Sparkle posted some of Gozon's star-studded guests, including Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Tim Yap, and, of course, Annette Gozon-Valdes, GMA senior vice president for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and president and CEO of GMA Films.

During the event, Marian and Heart shared a heartwarming moment, giving each other a long, tight hug, as seen on Tim's Instagram Story.

Last month, Heart and Marian proved that the world is healing by announcing their renewed friendship.

"Marian and I, we've always liked each other," Heart said. "And it's a true testament that you know, queens should always be supporting queens."

In the event, Gozon announced that he is stepping down as chairman and CEO of GMA Network starting on January 1, 2024. GMA president and chief operating officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. will assume the CEO role.
