Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes share their Christmas wishes
For the second time around, Marian Rivera had the chance to visit and play on “Family Feud,” the game show hosted by no less than her husband, Dingdong Dantes.
In Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Marian said that the excitement was still there.
“Ganu'n pa rin ang pakiramdam. Nakaka-excite, nakakakaba, talagang sobrang ‘whoo!’” the Kapuso Primetime Queen said.
[The feeling is still the same. Exciting, nerve-wracking.]
“Grabe, alam mo, ako ang kinakabahan para sa kanya, sa totoo lang. Kasi siyempre, natutuwa ako sa mga sagot niya, tapos parang, actually, parang nasa bahay lang kami nagkukwentuhan, pero siyempre alam ko naman na very competitive talaga itong misis ko. Lalong-lalo na 'yung team, ‘di ba? Kaya napakagandang celebration,” Dingdong said.
[Wow, you know, I'm the one feeling nervous for her, to be honest. Because, of course, I'm delighted with her answers, and it's like, actually, it's as if we're just at home having a conversation. But, of course, I know that my wife is really very competitive. Especially the team, right? So, it's such a wonderful celebration.]
Marian’s team, composed of members Pamu Pamorada, Majoy Apostol, and Neil Coleta, eventually won the game. The Smile Train charity was their chosen beneficiary.
Marian and Dingdong then shared that good health is among their Christmas wishes for each other.
“Siyempre, more time. More time para sa aking pamilya and good health. 'Yun lang naman po, very, very basic dahil para sa akin, ‘yun po ang kinaliligaya ko,” Dingdong said.
[Of course, more time. More time for my family and good health. That's all, very, very basic because for me, that's what brings me joy.]
“Good health din para sa kan’ya kasi araw-araw din siyang nagtatrabaho so sana hindi siya magkasakit. And then, siyempre, 'yung love namin sa isa't-isa na sana mas tumindi pa,” Marian said.
[Good health for him too because he works every day, so I hope he doesn't get sick. And, of course, our love for each other, I hope it deepens even more.]
The Kapuso power couple are set to star in “Rewind," a family drama with touches of magical realism. The project marks DongYan’s return to the big screen after over a decade.
It is also an official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.
