Eugene Domingo, Pokwang choose dream leading men for each other

If given a chance, Eugene Domingo said she wants Daniel Padilla to be Pokwang’s leading man someday.

In the recent episode of “Updated with Neslon Canlas,” the comedienne said Daniel is her best bet for Pokwang if it must be a local artist.

Pokwang was surprised by Eugene’s choice.

“Ay! PokNiel!” the Kapuso comedienne reacted.

“Kung [makapili naman] tayo ng mga leading man, tanungin natin kung gusto nila,” she added.

As for Eugene, Pokwang said she wants Alden Richards to work with her.

“Ang dami kasing mahuhusay ngayon eh, sa totoo lang. Gusto ko si Alden [para kay Uge],” she said.

In a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” episode last month, Boy Abunda revealed exclusively in the show that “Becky and Badette,” Pokwang and Eugene’s film for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year, already has a sequel in the works.

"Becky and Badette" follows the story of two high school best friends who became famous over a story they made up about a former batch mate.

Apart from "Becky and Badette," this year's MMFF features other must-see movies such as GMA Public Affairs and GMA Pictures' flagship movie, "Firefly," "Rewind" starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, and "Family of Two (A Mother and Son Story)" starring Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards, among others. —Hermes Tunac/JCB, GMA Integrated News
