Herlene Budol drops 'Kain Tayo' poster ahead of MV: 'Tara, mag mukbangan na!'
No one is as excited for the release of the song “Kain Tayo” than Herlene Budol herself.
The actress and beauty queen posted a teaser photo on Instagram showing her with lots of fast food in front of her and the single’s title behind her.
In her caption, Herlene said that she is “Eggzoited much” to share the video with the public.
“Lunch break na po! Oras na po ng lafang to the highest level sa buffet, Chi-cha tayo para busolve, [syempre hindi] mawawala ang (BUDOL) Boodle fight mga KaSquammy, KaHiponatics at KaBudol ko dyan,” she said.
Herlene added, “Tara mag mukbangan na!”
She also said that the song will be enjoyed by everybody.
“Impernezz nakaka LSS at tyak na tatangkilikin mula bata at pangkalahatan!”
“Kain Tayo” became a famous line after Herlene and her “Magandang Dilag” co-star Rob Gomez were embroiled in a controversy. Based on viral screenshots, it was insinuated that the two were having an affair.
Herlene earlier defended herself from the accusations saying, "'Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho, gagawan ka ng issue!"
In another statement, she said, “Yung batuhan ng mga script para pang kabisado sa mga linyahan ay nahaluan ng mga joke at one liner tulad ng salitang 'kain' ganyan na agad ang tingin nyo sa akin.”
"Sumakay lang ako sa mga joke dahil komedyante ako, kahit alam ko finiflirt ako," she added.
Bianca Manalo, Herlene and Rob’s co-star, was also involved in the cheating issue.
She said in a statement, “It is upsetting that our conversations were exposed without my consent, which is a breach of privacy and the cause of so much online bashing.”
“It is obvious that parts of our conversation were deleted to create malicious insinuations,” Bianca added.
Her boyfriend, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said in an Instagram post, “No fake news will divide us apart.”
