Mikael Daez says first day of 'Running Man Philippines 2' was already 'pure chaos'

The Runners are back and as chaotic as ever!

Mikael Daez gave an update from South Korea, where “Running Man Philippines” is taping its second season.

On Instagram, he posted photos with Glaiza De Castro, Buboy Villar, Angel Guardian, Kokoy De Santos, and Lexi Gonzales.

"We’re baaaaaack! Day 1 with the runners is in the books at ang daming nangyari,” Mikael said in his caption.

Without spoiling anything, he added, “What we thought would be a relaxing day settling in was the complete opposite—pure chaos ang naganap. But we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The actor and content creator added that the cast is staying in the same hotel as they did in 2022, “and it feels like home.”

Mikael gave a special shoutout to the original seventh Runner of “Running Man Philippines,” Ruru Madrid.

“I’m actually in Ruru’s old room in the hotel! Bale, ako muna ang caretaker ng kwarto mo, Ru!” Mikael said.

The first season of “Running Man Philippines,” the local adaptation of the hilarious South Korean variety show, premiered in 2022. Angel was named the first Ultimate Runner.

Ruru is unable to join the second season but wishes his fellow Runners good luck.

GMA Network teased the identity of the 7th Runner on Tuesday.
