Bretman Rock turns broken toenail into art: 'A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this'
Every part of Bretman Rock is a masterpiece, and he knows it!
On Instagram, the Filipino-American internet sensation posted a photo carousel detailing the unfortunate incident of breaking his middle toenail, which he later turned into a work of art.
According to the content creator, the accident happened during Thanksgiving when he was asked “to bring down a cooler from a flight of stairs.” It then fell on his foot, causing his middle toenail to break.
“This piece took [three] months, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this,” Bretman said.
“May it remind you to always be thankful for family and Tylenol that night it fell on me,” he added.
Bretman named the art “Thankful Toes” and hilariously hung it up in his home. He also joked the bidding for the art starts at $2M.
In less than 24 hours, his Instagram post has garnered almost 700,000 reactions.
Just recently, Bretman celebrated his eighth year of making a living out of content creation.
“I’m forever grateful for the little tiny Bretman Pebble for not giving a shii what anyone thought [because] he knew he was destined to be amongst the stars,” he said.
Bretman came to the Philippines early last year for book signing events for his first memoir, “You’re That Bitch.”
After the success of his first book, Bretman honored his past self and said he is “proud of that little brown boy” and that his success “is all because of a little Filipino bakla.”
