Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Barbie Imperial had an 'immersion' prior to filming '3 Days, 2 Nights in Poblacion'
Jasmine Curtis-Smith's new movie with Barbie Imperial features a lot of booze and bars.
Set in Poblacion, the RC Delos Reyes film will test the power of friendship.
In an interview on "Surprise Guest With Pia Arcangel," Jasmine revealed that she and Barbie had an "immersion" ahead of filming — and yes, that means drinking.
"I think ako 'yung mas na lost sa aming dalawa nung nag immersion po kami," Jasmine said. "Kasi ako 'yung naunang umuwi."
"I think I was going to a different level na po of lasing," she added. "Parang ako na yata 'yung magiging host ng party. Papunta na ako sa ganong level."
She recalled a night when she was so hyped up to go out, then realized Barbie wasn't drinking as much.
"I'm like, yeah, Barbie, let's go! Let's go!" she said. "Tapos itong si Barbie, ang galing niya kasi, Miss Pia. She's really good at this. She'll offer a round of drinks or shots, and then akala mo kasabay mo siya, pero siya lang nag-offer."
"Actually, parang ganun din 'yung characters namin in this film. May mga ganung moments na parang, akala ko sabay tayo. Kaya mas deads tuloy 'yung isa kesa sa kabilang best friend," she added.
Both Jasmine and Barbie attended the premiere night of "3 Days, 2 Nights in Poblacion" on Wednesday.
Jasmine said the film is relatable because "all of us go through our party stages and all of us may kalokohan with our best friends." —JCB, GMA Integrated News
