Lotlot De Leon signs off as Magnolia on 'Makiling': 'One for the books'

Lotlot De Leon is overflowing with gratitude as she signs off from “Makiling.”

On Instagram, the actress shared a photo of her character, Magnolia, along with a heartfelt message.

“One for the books ang role ko for Makiling and hindi ko magagampanan ito ng maayos kung hindi dahil sa gabay ng aming director na si tatay rado! Tatay Rado maraming salamat po ulit!   Love you!” she said.

Lotlot also thanked the show’s viewers.

“At Sa lahat po ng tumutok tuwing hapon sa aking character na si MAGNOLIA sa MAKILING na naawa,naiinis,nabuburyong sa akin, Maraming maraming salamat po! Nababasa ko po mga comments nyo and thank you lalo na sa mga #TeamMagnolia!” she said.

“Makiling” is now in its final week.

Lead stars and real life couple Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio are hoping that the series will have another season.

“Habang fresh pa, ‘di ba? Gawin na natin,” Derrick said.

“Makiling” marked Elle and Derrick’s return to GMA Afternoon Prime following “Return to Paradise.”

It airs at 4:00 p.m. after "Lilet Matias: Attorney-At-Law."
