Nanette Inventor recalls encounter with a ‘physical basher’: ‘Sinasakal niya ako, ang dami kong mga sugat’
Nanette Inventor looked back at the time when she was hurt by a woman because of her wealth.
On Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the actress-comedian said that it happened at the Folk Arts Theater.
Decked in bling and still dressed as her famous character, Doña Buding, Nanette went to go to the toilet.
“Paglabas ko, merong isang babaeng naka-duster na parang galit na galit," the veteran commedienne began.
"Sabing ganiyan, ‘Oy, oy, oy. Halika rito.' Kinuha niya ‘yung kolyar ko dito at sinasakal niya ako. ‘Ang dami mong kayamanan ha!’ Sabi niyang ganiyan. ‘Ba’t hindi mo ipamigay sa iba?’”
Nanette begged the woman to not kill her before the guards arrived and caught her.
“Huwag po ninyo akong patayin. May show akong ginagawa. At tsaka hindi po totoo ito, PNB po ito, pwet ng baso. Parang awa niyo na,” she said.
“I landed sa San Juan de Dios kasi ang Folk Arts Theater malapit doon. Ang dami kong mga sugat dito,” she said, pointing at her neck. “Sobra ang reaction. Meron na palang basher noon. Physical basher.”
Nanette appeared on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Wednesday with fellow commedienne and friend, Mitch Valdez.
