'Green Bones’ unveils second poster for much-awaited MMFF film
Another poster for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry "Green Bones" has just been unveiled!
On social media, GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs dropped the second theatrical poster featuring its lead cast members Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid.
The poster, made by Justin Besana, shows a contrast between Dennis and Ruru, the former depicted in a very close-up shot, and the latter, in a full body standing proudly in his jail guard uniform. Both their images are overlaid with green chains.
“Ikukulong ka ng iyong nakaraan. Palalayain ka ng katotohanan,” the Instagram caption read.
"Green Bones" tells the story of a man (Dennis) who is notorious for the grisly murder of his sister and her daughter. Already up for parole, a newly assigned prison guard (Ruru) takes a personal interest in making sure that he remains behind bars - no matter what it takes.
Directed by Zig Dulay, Green Bones follows notorious criminal Domingo Zamora (Dennis), who was arrested for the murder of his sister. Newly assigned prison guard Gonzaga (Ruru) observes that Domingo might be planning an escape and will do what he can to ensure he stays behind bars.
Aside from Dennis and Ruru, Kylie Padilla and Sofia Pablo are also part of the cast.
“Green Bones” will premiere in cinemas nationwide on December 25. Tickets are now available.
