Boy Abunda announces passing of former GMA executive Marivin Arayata

Former GMA executive Marivin Arayata has passed away.

"Kami po ay nakikiramay sa pamilya ng mga mahal sa buhay ni former GMA Entertainment Group Vice President Marivin Arayata," Boy Abunda said on Friday's episode of his daily afternoon talk show.

"She will always be remembered here in GMA for her passion and dedication and her motherly leadership," the King of Talk added.

Tito Boy personally expressed his condolences to the family, saying "Bahagi po ng aking kamera si Tita Avin."

"She will be missed," he added.

On Instagram, fellow entertainment stalwart Noel Ferrer also paid his respects to the late entertainment executive.

"Thank you Tita Avin for the legacy of kindness. My condolences to Tita Avin's friends and loved ones," he captioned his post.

Marivin died on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Her wake will be held at St Peter Chapels Commonwealth in Quezon City from January 18-22, 2025.
