Herlene Budol on overcoming past issue with Rob Gomez: 'Nagpa-help ako sa doctor'
Herlene Budol revealed she sought medical help to move on from the 2023 issues that involved her and her "Magandang Dilag" co-stars Rob Gomez and Bianca Manalo.
At the press conference of her new series "Binibining Marikit" Monday, the Kapuso actress said she underwent a series of psychological therapy to overcome the trying time.
“Nagpa-psych ako para mas ma-process siya nang maayos sa 'kin [kung] bakit may mga ganoong klaseng tao na kailangan kang hilahin pababa,” she told members of the press.
“Mabigat po eh na paratang sa akin kaya mahirap ‘yung sitwasyon ko noon,” she added.
Nevertheless, Herlene said she was able to move on. For now, she's focused on bettering her craft as an actress.
In 2023, several screenshots made the rounds on social media, insinuating that Herlene and Bianca allegedly had an affair with Rob.
Herlene defended herself from the accusations saying, "'Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho, gagawan ka ng issue!"
Bianca likewise addressed the rumors in a statement, saying, "Rob Gomez and I are friends and co-workers. He was going to bring Christmas gifts and I wanted to receive them early before I leave for the airport."
Meanwhile, Rob exclusively told Pep that his phone was taken and used without his consent.
Directed by Jorron Lee Monroy, "Binibining Marikit" is set to premiere on February 10 on GMA Afternoon Prime. Herlene will star alongside Tony Labrusca, Pokwang, and Thea Tolentino, among others.
