Yen Durano, Jenn Rosa share how they protect themselves when taping intimate scenes

How do Yen Durano and Jenn Rosa protect themselves when filming intimate scenes?

On Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the stars both said that setting boundaries is important.

“‘Pag during scene, ano ako talaga diyan, aware talaga ako. Kailangan ramdam ko kung sa’n nila ako hinahawakan, sa’n na nila ako hinahalikan. Para alam ko kung kailan ako aalma,” Jenn said.

Jenn is grateful that so far, none of her co-actors have crossed the line.

She also noted the importance of communicating with the director and her co-star.

“Sobrang importante po no’n, Tito Boy. Lalo na sa magiging ka-partner ko na mag-usap kami para at least alam namin ‘yung boundaries namin,” she said.

Yen agreed, saying prior to doing intimates scenes before, she would communicate first her limits.

“I’m very firm about my boundaries, so I have not experienced anything wrong during [tapings]. Very professional so far,” she said.

When asked by Tito Boy if it was true that she feels more comfortable doing love scenes with fellow women, Yen confirmed this.

“For me, it’s just safer to be in a woman’s energy kasi alam mong hindi ka babastusin, alam mong wala silang intention na gano’n,” she said.

They were likewise asked by the King of Talk if they have been disrespected or discriminated in public. While Jenn has not experienced this, unfortunately, it was not the same case for Yen outside, as she recalled a time she was groped in a club.

“I was hosting at a club na I will not name. So, there was an instance where they grabbed my butt. Gusto ko sana manapak or like gusto ko manakit pero ‘di ko mahanap kung sino. I don’t wanna just punch somebody I don’t know, na I’m not sure of,” she said.

During their guesting on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Yen also shared why she left Vivamax, saying she wants to focus more on her music.

“I feel like I’m done with it. I’m done with my contract and movies there. I make music. I want to focus on my music. I’m a singer-songwriter po, so I do R&B, contemporary soul. ‘Yun po ‘yung pino-focus ko,” she said.
