Pauline Amelinckx is not joining Miss Universe Philippines 2025
Pauline Amelinckx has addressed the rumors saying she will join the Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
On Instagram, the Filipina-Belgian beauty queen straight-up said she is not joining the coveted pageant this year.
“I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. The support to give MUPH another chance has been immense and it fills me with so much gratitude. I feel so blessed cos of you all,” she began, admitting the clamor from fans actually had her considering joining the pageant again.
“But always listen to my gut and heart, and for now they are leading me on a different but equally exciting path. Cheers to forging new paths and opening doors. Sending you all my love,” she said.
Despite this, Pauline assured her fans that the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 will “definitely be interesting to behold” and expressed her warmest support to her fellow beauty queens.
Pauline joined the Miss Universe Philippines pageant thrice: 2020, 2022 and 2023.
In the 2023 competition, she was appointed as the Miss Supranational Philippines and competed in the international edition of the pageant the same year. She finished as 1st runner-up.
Pageants veterans Yllana Aduana, Winwyn Marquez, Chelsea Fernandez are some of the confirmed candidates for this year’s Miss Universe Philippines.
