Vina Morales starts taping for 'Cruz vs. Cruz'

This year's Valentine's Day is indeed a Heart's Day for Vina Morales!

According to Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras," Monday, the actress has started taping "Cruz vs. Cruz," her Kapuso comeback project, on February 14.

"Sobrang bigat na kaagad kasi it's magkasunod na mga mabibigat na mga eksena with my daughters, mga kids ko and of course si Neil [Sese] na first time ko rin makatrabaho," Vina said.

According to Vina, she had prepared a lot because she wanted the first day back at the Kapuso network to be smooth-sailing.

"Naka-prepare naman ako pero s'yempre nandoon pa rin yung kaba kasi para sa akin pag nawawala 'yung kaba masyado ng kampante ayoko ng ganon," she said, adding that she will focus for the meantime on her acting comeback as she missed doing series.

As for her singing career, Vina said that although she misses doing concerts, she will prioritize what's currently on her plate. 

"I'm just happy for what I have, kung ano yung mga projects na meron ako one at a time. Kasi ngayon siguro mas nagpo-focus ako sa acting, why not? And then I was also working last year for doing concerts abroad, yun nga lang sa abroad nga lang yung concert ko," she said.

When it comes to her personal life, Vina is happy to have her daughter, Ceana.

Alam mo naman 'yung anak ko napakabait din. Can you imagine mag-ano na siya? Magsi-16 na 'yung anak ko pala, sweet 16. And my family's in, you know, we're healthy, 'yun ang pinaka-importante," Vina said.

Aside from Vina and Neil, "Cruz vs. Cruz" will also star Gladys Reyes, Pancho Magno, Lexi Gonzales, Kristoffer Martin, Elijah Alejo, and many more.
