Jillian Ward gets applauded for dedication in 'My Ilonggo Girl' as seen in BTS clip

Netizens were all praises for Jillian Ward after seeing a behind-the-scenes clip from "My Ilonggo Girl."

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the video showed how Jillian was held mid-air by staff for a confrontation scene.

"Ang galing talaga ni Jillian Ward," a user said, followed by another's "Galing! Congrats."

"Masaya po ako kasi ibig sabihin nun, marami pong nanonood, maraming natutuwa sa show namin," Jillian said, adding that she feels so blessed.

Jillian's co-star, Michael Sager, also expressed his gratitude for the support and the high ratings they've been receiving.

Jillian teased that more surprises await viewers, including Tata's "2.0" version and an emotional scene that will make viewers cry.

"Parang goodbye 'yung eksena, ta's parang malapit siya sa real life scenario namin. Nung shinu-shoot namin 'yung eksena, na-feel ko na genuine pala talaga si Michael. I mean, 'yung pagiging caring niya, 'yung pagiging mabait niya talaga sa 'kin," she said.

"[When] we did the scene, I was looking into Jill's eyes, and naramdaman ko talaga na i-cherish ko na 'tong moments na 'to 'cause I don't want to take it for granted. Kumbaga, if this is our only project na, I really enjoyed it and it's my way of saying thank you," Michael said.

"My Ilonggo Girl" also stars Myrtle Sarrosa, Arra San Agustin, Lianne Valentin, Empoy Marquez, Teresa Loyzaga, Arlene Muhlach, Richard Quan, Andrea Del Rosario, Vince Maristela, and Geo Mhanna.

It airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime after "Mga Batang Riles."
