Arlene Muhlach praises 'My Ilonggo Girl' co-stars Jillian Ward, Michael Sager

Arlene Muhlach guested on Mikee Quintos' "Lutong Bahay" Thursday where she gushed about her "My Ilonggo Girl" co-stars Jillian Ward and Michael Sager.

In the show's latest episode, Mikee asked the actress about what it's like working with the younger stars in the show.

"We always have so much fun. Like I said in all my interviews, Michael and Jillian are such dears," she said.  

"They're always fun to work with, there is no down moment with them. Alam mo kahit na gabi na, nakatawa pa rin sila."

Arlene also talked about her similarities with her character, Nay Gwapa. In "My Ilonggo Girl," she plays the mother of Jillian's character, Tata.

"The similarities, I'm a typical mom. I nurture my children, I cook for them, I take care of them, sometimes I'm strict, sometimes I cry with them," she shared. "Sa 'kin kasi I don't push my children to do what I want, I mold them into thinking for themselves."

Aside from Jillian, Michael, and Arlene, the show also stars Arra San Agustin, Lianne Valentin, Myrtle Sarrosa, Empoy Marquez, Teresa Loyzaga, Richard Quan, Andrea Del Rosario, Vince Maristela, and Geo Mhanna.

"My Ilonggo Girl" airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. on GMA Prime. Meanwhile, "Lutong Bahay" airs  weekdays at 5:45 p.m. on GTV.
