Carmina Villarroel on 'Hating Kapatid': 'First time namin na iiyak as a family'
Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi's first series with their twins Mavy and Cassy, "Hating Kapatid," will air on GMA Afternoon Prime.
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Carmina said that the project is going to be challenging for them.
"First time namin na iiyak as a family. 'Yun talaga sabi ko nga opposite eh kasi in real life, alam mo 'yung magaan lang, tawanan lang, kulitan. Ito 'yun talagang 'yung puro mga iyakan, confrontations which is going to be challenging for all of us," she said.
However, Zoren said that there's no awkwardness between him and the kids even though it's their first time acting together.
"Napagbulay-bulayan ko na 'yan parang hindi naman. Napagisip-isipan ko na na hindi kasi, you know, as they age, 'yung naging teenager sila, naging open kami sa isa't isa eh," he said.
Mavy and Cassy have nothing but excitement for the project.
"I'm very excited and I'm curious din kung paano kaya ang working dynamics namin," Cassy said.
"May kaba ako, more on excitement, kasi I believe in our work, kumbaga our craft as a family and also the craft ng bawat isa. So I'm very excited to show the netizens, the viewers what we're capable of," Mavy said.
Mavy is currently one of the hosts of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," while Cassy launched her own vodcast, "Cassy's Corner," in December.
Last year, Zoren was part of the cast of "Black Rider" while Carmina had a guest appearance as her "Widows' Web" character, Barbara Sagrado-Dee, in "Widows' War." —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
