Heart Evangelista posts her first commercial: ’26 years ago, she was 14’

Heart Evangelista threw it back to ’99!

In a TikTok video, the Global Fashion Icon posted a clip of her first ever commercial for a popular deodorant brand. Heart was shopping with her friends, and as she reached for a high shelf, her love interest Cogie Domingo was revealed.

“[Twenty-six] years ago, she was 14,” Heart wrote in her video.

“Imagine that. Walking around the mall with my sister, then all of a sudden ….’would you wanna be on commercials?’” Heart added in her caption.

In a 2023 TikTok video, the actress and fashionista shared that she and her sister were walking around a mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, when a talent scout discovered her.

This kickstarted Heart’s experiences of attending workshops and going to auditions, and the rest is history.

Heart is known as a fashion week mainstay. She recently appeared in the Paris and Milan fashion weeks.

This year, she appeared on the covers of L'Officiel Philippines, Elle Indonesia, and Harper's Bazaar Vietnam.

Heart also received this year's Global Fashion Influencer of the Year Award at the 2025 EMIGALA Fashion & Beauty Awards in Dubai.
