Jay Ortega shares the most important advice he got from David Licauco

Jay Ortega is a rising star, and his nonstop projects with star-studded casts like “Pulang Araw,” “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan,” and “Slay” prove just that.

In an interview with GMA News Online, Jay said that he is thankful for the chance to work with veteran actors as he learns a lot from them.

The most important advice he got is from none other than the Pambansang Ginoo himself, who Jay praised as a "great actor."

“Madami siyang tips sa ‘kin, like sa acting, mag-a-acting ka, just be at the moment,” Jay said, adding that David shared them with him while they were taping "Pulang Araw."

“Kung ano man ‘yung ma-feel mo at that moment, ‘yun na ‘yung lalabas sa ‘yo.’”  

The Sparkle star added that he is enjoying his journey in “Slay” and “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan.”

“Nakakataba naman ng comments ‘pag nakikita ko ‘yung mga positive feedbacks ng mga fans,” Jay said.

He also said he sees a lot of tweets and even TikTok fan edits, and makes it a point to interact and reply to fans “kasi I appreciate the love and the support talaga.” —JCB, GMA Integrated News
