How did ‘Bubble Gang’ change Sam Pinto and Gwen Zamora’s lives?

Sam Pinto and Gwen Zamora were once part of the Kapuso comedy show “Bubble Gang.”
In Thursday's episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the two stars were asked how being part of the show impacted their lives.
For Gwen, “Bubble Gang’s” impact was “huge."
“Kasi ‘yon talaga ‘yung first constant project ko na we had on a weekly basis. So it felt like home,” she shared.
But when Gwen’s stint ended, a big part of her showbiz life “stopped.”
“Siyempre when it stopped, a big part of it, of my showbiz life, stopped. Shortly after, I got pregnant and all of that so I was distant from showbiz after that,” she said.
Meanwhile, for Sam, who became popular for her character Neneng B, the show opened many doors for her, including various projects and getting recognized by the public.
“It was such a big thing because it opened so many doors. including the Neneng B and a lot of projects. 'Di ba? Kasi people see us every Friday. As in lahat ng tao, nanonood ng ‘Bubble Gang!’ I’m like ‘OK. Kilala niyo kami,’” she shared.
Echoing Sam, Gwen added that the cast members treat themselves as family.
“It was fun! We created a bond together. We were like families, so we would see each other every Monday during taping and then we would see each other on the weekends. Then we would recap our weekends on a Monday during taping and sometimes we would see each other during movies,” she said.
Gwen and Sam were regular cast members of “Bubble Gang” from 2010 to 2016. After leaving the show, they both starred in numerous acting projects.
Shortly after their stint in the Kapuso gag show, the two stars become sisters-in-law as their husbands Anthony and David Semerad are twin brothers.
Sam married Anthony in March 2021 and they have a daughter named Mia. Meanwhile, Gwen tied the knot with David in February 2021 and they have two kids together: Cooper and Amber.
