Jackie Forster defends son Kobe Paras from cheating allegations
Jackie Forster took to social media to release a statement about the breakup of her son Kobe Paras and Kyline Alcantara.
In a nearly 15-minute video uploaded on social media, Jackie confirmed the breakup of Kobe and Kyline and defended her son from cheating allegations.
According to Jackie, their family initially wanted to "keep quiet" amid the breakup issue but could no longer allow "more accusations" to spread.
She began by identifying timelines, saying Kobe and Kyline's relationship began to fall apart in January after their trip to the United States.
According to Jackie, Kobe "wanted to try to get past" their issues but he decided to leave Kyline and move out when some things became "unforgivable."
Still, Jackie's family remained in contact with the Kapuso actress "to console her for hours."
"We are Kobe's family, but out of respect, we still tried to be there for her, to help console her, to listen, and to be understanding," she said.
According to Jackie, Kyline was still in touch with them "up until the day before Easter" to convince Kobe to "apologize to her so they could still fix things."
After the breakup, Jackie alleged that Kyline's camp was fueling false narratives on social media, portraying Kobe negatively. "I'm confused as to why Kyline and the people on her side are allowing Kobe to look like he's a cheater, and she just wants to keep quiet to protect her own peace," she said.
Meanwhile, Jackie also addressed why Kobe was using Kyline's car, saying the actress actually lent it to him while his car was getting repaired.
Jackie said people can judge and hate Kobe for quickly moving on, "but I think that's better than loving someone while pretending to be somebody that they're not."
In the final part of her statement, Jackie shared how people had warned her about Kyline, and that she regrets not listening to them.
"I defended you, Kyline," she said. "I regret not listening to those warnings."
Earlier in April, Kyline and Kobe unfollowed each other on Instagram.
They confirmed their relationship in November 2024.
In December, Kyline revealed she had already introduced Kobe to her parents, Butch and Rowena Alcantara. They also spent Christmas together.
