Kyline Alcantara hopes to move on from Kobe Paras issue, says Sparkle GMA Artist Center

Sparkle GMA Artist Center has issued a statement a few days after Jackie Forster confirmed the breakup of her son, Kobe Paras, and Kyline Alcantara.

The statement was aired in "24 Oras" Tuesday and posted on Sparkle's official social media pages.

According to Sparkle's statement, Kyline wishes to move on from the issue surrounding her and Kobe.

"Kyline would like to move on with this issue. She has chosen to keep her peace and maintain the respect for the people who have been part of her life. She hopes we can all move on and put this issue to rest," Sparkle's statement read.

On Sunday evening, Jackie took to social media to release a statement confirming Kyline and Kobe's breakup. She also defended her son from cheating allegations.

According to Jackie, Kyline and Kobe's relationship began to fall apart in January after their trip to the United States where Kyline met his family.

Jackie also alleged that Kyline's camp was fueling false narratives on social media that portrayed Kobe negatively.

"I'm confused as to why Kyline and the people on her side are allowing Kobe to look like he's a cheater, and she just wants to keep quiet to protect her own peace," she said.

She also addressed why Kobe was using Kyline's car, saying the actress lent it to him while his car was getting repaired.

Jackie added that people can judge and hate Kobe for quickly moving on, "but I think that's better than loving someone while pretending to be somebody that they're not."

Kyline and Kobe unfollowed each other on Instagram in early April.

Kobe confirmed he was dating Kyline in November 2024.

In December 2024, Kyline revealed that she had already introduced Kobe to her parents, Butch and Rowena Alcantara. They also spent Christmas together with Kyline's family.
