Sanya Lopez thankful for success of 'Samahan ng mga Makasalanan'


Sanya Lopez has nothing but grateful heart as her latest film "Samahan ng mga Makasalanan" continues to thrive in cinemas.

In Nelson Canlas' report in "24 Oras" on Monday, the Sparkle star expressed gratitude to those who showed support to the movie, which also stars David Licauco.

"Mixed 'yung emotion nila, naging masaya sila, nagkaroon sila ng realization. So 'yun 'yung gusto namin s'yempre ma-receive na kumento ng mga tao syempre after panoorin," she said.

Now in its third week, "Samahan ng mga Makasalanan" will have its special screening on Saturday, where her brother Jak Roberto will be a special guest.

In the same interview, Jak expressed his support for his younger sister's movie.

"I heard good feedback sa pelikula nila. Tsaka nakita ko iyong teaser na-curious din ako," Jak said.

2025 has been fully booked for Sanya. Aside from "Samahan ng Makasalanan," she previously went to Japan for an upcoming project. Sanya is also reprising her role as Danaya in "Sang'gre."

With projects waiting for Sanya left and right, how does she plan to unwind and recharge?

"Baka mag-Bali [Indonesia] ako, baka mag-beach. Parang sabik na sabik ako sa dagat," she said. 

"Kasi after po 'Sang'gre,' diretso ako sa kabilang trabaho ulit. So ano naman, which is blessing. excited ako and happy ako lagi. Pero iba pa rin yung feeling na binibigyan mo rin ng, syempre minsan ng relaxation ang sarili para ready ka mag-work sa susunod." —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
