Barbie Forteza, more Kapuso stars share Mother's Day plans
It's almost Mother's Day and several Kapuso stars shared their plans with their moms and family on this special day.
According Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras" Friday, Barbie Forteza's schedule is jam-packed on Mother's Day, so her family decided to just have one celebration that will also include Father's Day and her parents' birthdays.
"Sabi ko, 'Mama, baka gusto mong may gawin the day before or when I get back na lang from Korea.' Sabi niya, 'Hindi pag sabay-sabayan na natin kasi malapit na rin ang Father's Day, malapit na rin ang birthday ni daddy, malapit na rin ang birthday niya, isang celebration na lang, pero happy happy Mother's Day mama, I love you so much," the Kapuso Primetime Princess said.
Lani Misalucha, for her part, shared, "Uuwi ako for Mother's Day to be with my daughters and my grandchildren."
Lani is gearing up for her "Still Lani" concert this August in celebration of her 40th anniversary in the industry. She is also set to begin taping for GMA's reality talent competition show "The Clash" 2025.
Juancho Triviño also shared he has a concept of what to do for Mother's Day but he has not made any reservations yet.
"May concept na 'ko of a plan, wala pa kong mga reservations na ginagawa pero syempre this day's very special for her gusto kong pasalamatan siya through that," he said.
Meanwhile, John Vic De Guzman said he has a surprise for his mom.
"I-s-surprise ko na lang siya. Kahit hindi naman po Mother's Day every time talaga na may chance makauwi ng bahay, binibigyan ko ng pagkakataon na maging special 'yung kumbaga time, kahit short time na magkasama kami ng mama ko," he said.
Zonia Mejia and her family will celebrate Mother's Day at home, adding that they will allot Sunday for their mom. Matthew Uy, on the other hand, will take his mother out on a date.
Seb Pajarillo did not detail his plan for Mother's Day but added, "Very excited kami sa reaction ni mama."
Matt Lozano also chose not to divulge his plan for his mom, saying, "Naku, ayoko sabihin, baka ma-prempt. Pero happy Mother's Day, ma, I love you so much. Thank you for all the support."
