Dustin Yu celebrates birthday inside 'Pinoy Big Brother' house

Dustin Yu turned a year older on Tuesday, and the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” housemates celebrated with him inside Bahay ni Kuya.

As seen in Thursday's episode, Dustin first received a surprise video message from his family, which brought him to tears. “Happy birthday, we love you!” they said.

The housemates then gave the Sparkle actor a cake and sang “Happy Birthday.”

River Joseph, Dustin’s new duo, gave him a message.

“I’m so happy na magka-duo na tayo ngayon. Hindi lang tayo duo dito pero alam ko paglabas natin dito, duo pa rin tayo,” he said.

Bianca De Vera also thanked Dustin for taking care of her.

“Honestly, ‘di ko nami-miss ‘yung pagaalaga sa ‘kin ng tatay ko sa ‘kin because naalagaan mo talaga ‘ko dito,” she said. “Kung gaano ako ka-prinsesa sa bahay, nabibigay mo sa ‘kin here without me even asking and thank you for that.”

Dustin also opened up to the housemates, saying that he feared getting misunderstood before entering Bahay ni Kuya.

“Thank you sa lahat ng pagiintindi. Mahal na mahal ko kayong lahat super,” he said.
