Josh Ford opens up on 'confrontation' with Vince Maristela in ‘Pinoy Big Brother'
Josh Ford guested in “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Monday where he was asked about the "confrontation" he had with fellow housemate Vince Maristela during his stint in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”
According to the ex-housemate, he did not see the confrontation coming from Vince who seemingly blamed him for the "sopas" joke.
“Ako po, di ko rin po in-expect that from Vince. Ayoko namang sabihin na mababaw ‘yung rason bakit ako ‘yung na-point out sa sopas situation. Parang sinisi niya ako sa harapan ng lahat ng boys na ako ‘yung may kasalanan so siyempre nasaktan po ako doon,” Josh said.
The Sparkle star added that he was embarrassed and did not like how Vince singled him out in front of everyone instead of addressing the issue privately.
“I just didn’t really like it because he pointed me in front of everybody. Kinausap niya po kaming lahat ng boys but he kept on looking at me until he said my name in front of everybody, so syempre napahiya po ako. Hindi naman ‘yun ‘yung ini-intend kong gawin sa kaniya,” he explained.
“I was really embarrassed," he added.
In April, Vince had called Josh out in front of the other housemates after the latter repeated Michael Sager's joke that they should place the sopas in Vince's water jug. Vince likened the joke to bullying, but Josh defended himself, saying he was not a bully and that he had felt that he and Vince were already close.
After their rift, the two boys reconciled but Josh told Tito Boy, “Supposedly, yes [naayos], dapat talaga we stuck to it but I wasn’t really feeling him parang di ko pa siya masyadong nararamdaman tuwing nag-uusap kami."
Despite this, Josh hopes to talk to Vince once the latter returns to the outside world.
“[I’m] looking forward to it naman po. Siyempre ayaw ko naman magkaroon ng mga problema or like any issues between other people. Siyempre gusto ko rin pong ayusin and sana this time mas maramdaman ko na po ‘yung, you know, being genuine with me," he said.
Josh is the latest housemate to get evicted from Bahay ni Kuya. He got evicted alongside his duo Ralph De Leon who had the chance to return inside the house after winning a wildcard slot.
“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” airs new episodes on GMA Network at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
