Gabbi Garcia turns teary-eyed from Tito Boy's praise

"Wait lang Tito Boy. Medyo kinilig ako sa lahat ng sinabi mo," Gabbi Garcia told Tito Boy on Friday's edition of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

The King of Talk did not hold back on his praises for Gabbi, reflecting back to the actress her good work ethic. 

Tito Boy described Gabbi as such a hard-working actress. "You have a drive that no one can ever district you. Itong gutom — Saan nanggagling yon?" Tito Boy first asked Gabbi.

After her initial surprise at Tito Boy's praise, Gabbi admitted she doesn't hear these things often. "Iilan lang kayong nagsabi sa kin nito so it really means a lot," she said.

"But I think I'm really just passionate with my craft. I really love my job. I really like what I'm doing I'm really enjoying this industry," Gabbi said.

According to Gabbi, she is "having the best time of my life" that's why she wants to keep improving.

"I wanna make sure that I'm not short changing people who are supporting me and trusting me," she added.

It was when Boy told her how easy it is to mentor her that Gabbi turned teary-eyed.

"I want people to understand that you are where you are today not by accident. You work so hard," he said.

Clearly touched, Gabbi quickly recovered and said, "I love learning from you." 

Gabbi renewed her contract with GMA Network today. "Thank you for giving me the dream of a lifetime. I'll forever cherish it," she said during the contract signing. — LA, GMA Integrated News
