Alden Richards calls out an airline for damage to his bike

Alden Richards took to social media to call out Cathay Pacific for the damage to his bike frame on his flight to the Philippines.

On Instagram, Asia's Multimedia Star shared a photo of the damage and said "Shoutout to [Cathay Pacific] for fracturing my bike frame and unloading my bike box and bike rack on my way home to the Philippines."

"This is very upsetting!" he added.

Alden has been dedicated to cycling as of late. In May, he completed a 61-kilometer bike ride.

His post has also been reshared by fellow Kapuso artist and bike enthusiast Kristoffer Martin.

According to a representative from Cathay Pacific, the airline is aware of Alden's case and is currently investigating.

In a statement, Cathay said they were "in close contact with [Alden] regarding the issue and will continue to actively follow up and provide all necessary assistance" to Alden.

"We sincerely apologize to [Alden] for the inconvenience caused," Cathay's statement ended.

Apart from hosting "Stars on the Floor," Alden is set to make his directorial debut in the upcoming film "Out of Order," which he will also topbill alongside Nonie Buencamino and Heaven Peralejo.
