Kyline Alcantara says her heart is 'better now' following recent heartbreak

Kyline Alcantara was all smiles as she declared that her heart is doing good and better now ever since facing her recent heartbreak.

In her GMA Integrated News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired on "24 Oras," Thursday, Kyline has finally opened up about the profound hurt she experienced following a period of personal heartbreak and controversy.

The Sparkle star said that her heart is "good, it's better now with the help of everyone around me."

Kyline admitted that although she remained silent through her recent experiences of heartbreak and challenges, she was deeply hurt by those who judged her.

"It hurts. It hurts so much na parang napakadali lang ng mga tao na i-judge ako," she said, sharing that when she feels less strong, she copes by praying, sitting with her feelings, and dealing with them on her own.

Despite the last few months being very challenging for her, Kyline chose not to fight back publicly.

"Because nasaktan mo man ako, I will always show grace, and I will never fight back publicly. And I will never speak up about whatever's happening in my private life publicly because I do not owe the world my heartbreak, so sa akin 'yon," she said.

Kyline said that she doesn't need to prove herself to anyone or seek validation from anyone, especially the public.

"I know that I'm a public figure, but I'm not public's property. I will never fight back because alam ko 'yung karma or 'yung revenge manggagaling 'yan sa ating Panginoong Diyos," she said.

She believes that even those who hurt her are loved by God and have goodness in their hearts.

"Si God na po bahala doon because He saw what I didn't see, He heard what I didn't hear, so Siya na po 'yun. I just move on," Kyline said.

She reassured others not to worry about her. "Please don't worry about me. Please don't. I can handle this. Baka strong woman 'to."

Amidst these personal trials, Kyline also spoke about her strong bond with Barbie Forteza.

Kyline recounted a particular instance where Barbie, sensing Kyline wasn't OK and had no appetite, showed up at her house to ensure she ate, bringing food and coffee.

Kyline and Barbie star together on "Beauty Empire" with Ruffa Gutierrez. It airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Network. It is also available on Viu. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
