Barbie Forteza all praises for Kyline Alcantara: 'She's very delightful and generous'

Barbie Forteza is all praises for her friend and "Beauty Empire" co-star Kyline Alcantara. 

In her GMA Integrated News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired in "24 Oras" Tuesday, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared that this is the first time she and Kyline worked together in a teleserye. 

"Nakakatrabaho ko na po siya dati sa 'All-Out Sundays,' sumasayaw na kami together, nag-s-spiels na kami together pero ngayon ko lang siya na-experience as an actress at masasabi ko na she's very delightful and generous," praised Barbie. 

"She's very genuine when it comes to giving emotions sa eksena. Marunong siyang magtimpla ng eksena at tsaka malalim 'yung hugot niya bilang aktor," she added. 

Barbie and Kyline's friendship has gotten even deeper as they started working together in "Beauty Empire." 

In Kyline's previous GMA Integrated News interview, she shared that she has wanted to work with Barbie since she started in GMA Network in 2018. 

"Right now, I have the privilege of working with her, so ang sarap po sa pakiramdam. As in idol ko po, at lagi ko naman sinasabi 'yan kay Barbie pag nagkaka-eksena pa rin kami. Hanggang ngayon may konting kaba pa rin at nginig pa rin sa baba kapag ka-eksena ko si Barbie kasi napakagaling po ni Barbie," said Kyline. 

The two stars also bond outside of taping. Per Kyline, they like going out for coffee together; she has also ventured into running thanks to Barbie. 

During Kyline's guesting in "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on July 11, she could not help but turn emotional as she shared how Barbie helped her cope with her recent heartbreak. 

She added that their relationship right now is more than just being coworkers, agreeing with Tito Boy that they are like sisters. 

Kyline and Barbie star together in "Beauty Empire" with Ruffa Gutierrez, Gloria Diaz, Chai Fonacier, and more. It airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Network. It is also available on Viu.
