Iza Calzado posts photos with iconic 'Encantadia' costume: 'Still a Sang'gre at heart'
Iza Calzado paid a visit to GMA Network and didn't miss the chance to take a trip down memory lane.
The actress was in the headquarters in Quezon City for a brand she endorses. While there, the OG Amihan posed with her “Encantadia” costume, which is on display.
“Still a Sang’gre at heart,” Iza wrote in her caption.
“[I] was so happy our interview set up was right next to our Encantadia costumes. Forever grateful to breathe life to Amihan for the OG version,” she added.
The other original “Encantadia” Sang’gres are Diana Zubiri, Karylle, and Sunshine Dizon. They've remained friends through the years.
Iza also named her daughter Deia Amihan after her iconic character.
“Sang’gre,” the “Encantadia” spin-off series, follows a new generation of Sang’gres. It stars Bianca Umali, Kelvin Miranda, Faith Da Silva, and Angel Guardian.
"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
