In Devas, Gaiea vows to create her own fate

As Danaya (Sanya Lopez) mourned the loss of Gaiea (Cassy Lavarias) and Aquil (Rocco Nacino), Amihan (Kylie Padilla) welcomed the father and daughter to Devas (heaven).

Monday's episode showed a flashback of the death of Gaiea and Aquil in the mortal world to give way to Bathalumang Emre's prophecy.

After arriving in Devas, Gaiea met Emre and questioned him about her untimely death.

"Bakit ako? Hindi ako masama. Wala akong ginawang mali. Naging masunurin ako sa aking Ada at Ado at sa lahat ng mga nakakatanda sa akin. Ngunit, bakit mo ako hinayaang mapaslang para sa isang kapatid na hindi ko na makikilala pa? Kami po ba ni Ado ay sakripisyo lamang?" she said.

Emre then told Gaiea that she is not a sacrifice but a new beginning, while her sister Terra (Bianca Umali) represents the "hope."

Gaiea then pleaded with Emre to bring her back to life so she can reunite with her mother Danaya and welcome her sister Terra to the realm of Encantadia.

"Tutulungan ko sila. Sasagipin namin ang Encantandia sa anumang panganib at kung sino man ang nagbabanta sa kaniya," she said.

Despite her pleas, Emre could only offer her to serve as a guiding light for her sister.

Though overwhelmed with grief, Gaiea's spirit remained unbroken, vowing to forge her own destiny.

"Kung hindi mo ako kayong ibalik, kung ang tadhana ay para lamang sa mga pinili, hindi ibig sabihin wala akong saysay. Ako ang lilikha ng sarili kong tadhana," she said.
