Gina gets suspicious of Gerald, Betsy in 'My Father's Wife'
Gina (Kylie Padilla) is getting more suspicious of her husband Gerald (Jak Roberto) and her stepmother Betsy (Kazel Kinouchi).
Monday's episode of "My Father's Wife" showed Betsy hiding under the bed when Gina entered her room with Gerald at a resort.
As Gina walked in, Gerald tried to win over his wife with sweet words and affection. But the mood shifted abruptly when an insect scurried under the bed, making Betsy scream.
Startled by the outburst, Gina grew suspicious and moved to check beneath the bed. Gerald quickly stepped in, insisting on doing it himself. While crouched under the bed, he secretly signaled Betsy to stay silent.
Before things took a complicated turn, Gerald showered Gina with kisses, giving Betsy the chance to slip away quietly and return to the room she shared with her husband, Robert (Gabby Concepcion).
Later when Robert was asleep, Betsy went to the bathroom to call Gerald, who was in the shower. Startled by the phone call, Gina woke up from sleep and checked the caller, whose name was Mrs. Zabala.
Curious about the intent of the call, Gina answered and was surprised to hear Betsy's voice, adding more suspicion.
As Gina was about to answer, Robert came knocking on the bathroom door to check Betsy, which prompted her to end the call. Gina then asked the frantic Gerald about Mrs. Zabala, who just brushed off the question by saying that the latter was just a potential supplier for their business.
The next morning, Gina met her godmother, Vivian (Dina Bonnevie), and told her about her suspicions of her husband having an affair. She also brought up the voice call that sounded like Betsy.
Despite her growing suspicion, Vivian advised Gina not to jump to conclusions and to carefully think through her decisions first.
