'Green Bones,' 'Balota,' 'Hello, Love, Again' bag nominations at the 27th Gawad Pasado

"Green Bones," "Hello, Love, Again," and "Balota" just bagged several nominations at the 27th Gawad Pasado (Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro). 

According to GMA Pictures, "Green Bones" starring Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid garnered a total of 13 nominations, while "Balota" starring Marian Rivera was nominated for eight awards. 

Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo's movie "Hello, Love, Again" also received 12 nominations. 

All three films have been nominated for the Pinakapasadong Pelikula, among other awards. 

The 27th Gawad Pasado awarding ceremony will be held on October 25. Venue details have yet to be announced.

Previously, the three movies and their stars won big at the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards (FAMAS Awards) and the 8th Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards (EDDYs Awards). 

In August, Marian won Best Actress at the FAMAS Awards 2025 for her role as Teacher Emmy in "Balota," while "Green Bones" bagged Best Screenplay (Ricky Lee and Anj Atienza). 

Meanwhile, at the EDDYs Awards 2025 in July, Marian took home the Best Actress award for "Balota." 

Dennis bagged the Best Actor award for his role as inmate Domingo Zamora in "Green Bones," while Ruru won Best Supporting Actor for his role as prison guard Xavier Gonzaga. 

Other awards for "Green Bones" include Best Picture, Best Director (Direk Zig), and Best Cinematography (Neil Daza). 

Dennis, Alden, and Ruru were also named Box Office Heroes at the EDDYs Awards.
