'Bubble Gang' releases old skit of Bitoy speaking in British accent and netizens are here for it!

"Bubble Gang" has released an old skit of Michael V. where he is seen speaking in a British accent and netizens are here for it.

On social media, the long-running comedy show uploaded an old video of Bitoy, who was wearing wig and a hat, and spoke with a strong British accent.

"Have you seen the royal couple? Have you been to the Big Ben? You better go to the loo first," Bitoy's character said.

Above and across the clip was written, "Yung friend mong galing London be like."

It was only eight seconds long but it was enough to tickle netizens to laughter and remind them of the current issues. Not a few were reminded of Sarah Discaya and her now-viral clip where she spoke in a British accent.

Discaya, who owns several construction firms including St. Timothy Construction Corporation, is in the middle of the flood control brouhaha currently hounding the headlines.

"Si Sarah Discaya during her teenage years," one netizen said on Instagram, while popular social media account Kabulastugan asked "early life ni sarah ba ituuu?"

On Facebook meanwhile, not a few followers compared "Bubble Gang" to "The Simpsons," which has quite the record of foretelling future events in America.

"Bubble Gang is the New Simpsons," one Facebook follower wrote, while another said "na-predict talaga ng Bubble Gang."

The clip has already generated more than 6K engagements and over 600 shares on Facebook, while there's been nearly 1,000 double-taps on Instagram.

"Bubble Gang" will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and as such, more archival drops can be expected. If you wanna get first dibs, be sure to join Bubble Gang's Facebook Group aptly called Batang Bubble
