Jong Madaliday wins 'The Clash 2025'

Jong Madaliday emerged as the big winner in “The Clash” 2025!

The North Cotabato singer is a returning Clasher, who first competed in Season 1 in 2018 and finished as the runner-up.

Jong previously appeared on “Studio 7” and “All-Out Sundays,” and then became a content creator during the pandemic.

Jong told GMA News Online in an interview that he became passionate about music because of his parents.

“Mga talented sila,” he said.

He added that his mother’s side of the family is filled with singers and dancers. No one but his mother and uncle supported him and his talent before.

“’Yung mga pangarap ng mga tito ko dati, parang ako nalang ‘yung nagtuloy,” Jong said.

“I want to prove something to them na, o kinaya ko,” he added. “Gusto kong i-prove sa kanila na kaya akong buhayin ng music ko.”

Jong added that one of his biggest achievements this season would be making the audience, hosts, and judges cry from his performance of “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls.

“Parang sinabay ko sila dun sa kwento ko na ‘Iris’ is parang ‘yun ‘yung gusto kong sabihin na ‘di ko kayang bigkasin. Nadaan ko dun sa awit.”

After “The Clash,” Jong said he will continue with music and is going on a tour.

“I have US tour, so mag-to-tour ako November, sa Las Vegas and around US,” he said. “And then January, Canada, and then February, Europe.”

In a previous interview with GMA News Online, Jong said that should he win “The Clash,” he would like to help his community.

“I want to help people din sa amin kasi ang dami ding medyo ‘di gaano kaganda ang buhay nila.”

He also hopes to build a music studio in his hometown of Kabacan, North Cotabato, as “there are so much talented [people].”

Jong also wants to treat his mother to a flight to Mecca in Saudi Arabia. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
