Jong Madaliday manifested 'The Clash' 2025 win with empowering note
Jong Madaliday's victory on "The Clash" 2025 is the furthest thing from random.
On Instagram Monday, the big winner of "The Clash" 2025 shared a note that he kept in his phone, which served as his reminder throughout the competition.
Dated June 10, it read, "Ako ang tatanghaling The Clash Champion 2025."
"Bago pa man ako tumungtong sa [The Clash] para maki pag compete ulit, ito ang quote ko na iniwan ko sa notes ng cellphone ko," he wrote in his caption.
The North Cotabato singer was among the Clash Backers or returning Clashers who competed on "The Clash" 2025. Jong first competed in the show's first season in 2018, where he finished as the runner-up.
During the recent grand finals, he delivered a powerful performance of Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved," edging out fellow Clash Backer Arabelle Dela Cruz to win the competition.
Following his victory, Jong told GMA News Online he became passionate about music because of his parents, adding that his mom and uncle were the ones who supported him and his talent before.
"'Yung mga pangarap ng mga tito ko dati, parang ako na lang ‘yung nagtuloy,” Jong said. "I want to prove something to them na, 'O kinaya ko.' Gusto kong i-prove sa kanila na kaya akong buhayin ng music ko."
Jong is set to go on tour in the United States this November, and in Canada and Europe in January and February 2026.
Previously, he shared that he'd like to help his community in North Cotabato if ever he wins "The Clash."
He hopes to build a music studio in his hometown, as well as take his mother to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
Congratulations, Jong!
