'Bubble Gang,' Paolo Contis tease new Michael V. parody

Michael V. is all set to make another iconic parody and it's going to be super relevant to the headlines!

In an Instagram Stories post, Paolo Contis posted a photo with the Comedy Genius dressed in a white blazer and a gray top. Bitoy donned a short wig and a mole that will remind you of Sarah Discaya. He also had a microphone in front of him, not unlike the microphones at government hearings.

“Hearing ongoing,” Paolo said in his caption. He tagged Michael V. and "Bubble Gang" and added the hashtags #Soon and #BG30.

On social media, "Bubble Gang" released a video of Bitoy presumably — the character was wearing the very same costume from Paolo's post — and said "hindi pa tapos ang hearing." In the video, "Bubble Gang" told followers to watch its upcoming episode on September 14 at 6:10pm.  

On both Facebook and Instagram, followers are excited about Bitoy's upcoming parody. "Disc Kaya," one wrote on Instagram. "Please serve some British twang," a Facebook follower added. 

Later on Tuesday, the official account of "Bubble Gang" released photos of Michael V. looking uncannily like Sarah Discaya.

The long-running comedy show recently released an old clip of Bitoy speaking in a British accent, that reminded netizens of Discaya’s now-viral clip where she spoke in the same accent. It went viral.

Discaya, who owns several construction firms including St. Timothy Construction Corporation, is in the middle of the flood control projects issue currently hounding the headlines.
