Pirena, Mitena fight over Balintataw with badass moves

Pirena (Glaiza De Castro) is once again facing Mitena (Rhian Ramos) after trying to retrieve Imaw's staff, the Balintataw, from Lireo.

On Tuesday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," Pirena shapeshifted into Mitena in order to bypass her security enchantment on her chambers.

She began her mission when Mitena left the castle to attend to the fire she started in the forest.

Mine-a-ve generals, however, found traces of Pirena and Terra's (Bianca Umali) arrival on the beach near the portal of Adamya. They reported it to the Ice Queen, who figured out that someone lured her out of Lireo.

Mitena hurriedly returned to the castle and found her own figure holding Balintataw inside her room. She used the Esperanto to reveal Pirena as the intruder.

The two circled around each other while delivering taunts, but Mitena ran out of patience when Pirena attempted to get her on their side.

Mitena transformed the Esperanto into a scepter and attacked Pirena with ice blasts, but the Sang'gre managed to dodge them all.

The Ice Queen eventually found an opening to take the Balintataw from Pirena after turning the Esperanto back into a spear, using its length to reach the staff.

But Pirena did not give up and re-engaged, attacking Mitena with her sword and skillfully stealing back the Balintataw.

Mitena then summoned the three gems in her command and grew even more angry when Pirena answered with the fire gem, which she reclaimed from Olgana (Bianca Manalo).

The episode ended with the two locked in battle using the gems.
