Mikael Daez shares hilarious video while on anesthesia, gives health update
Mikael Daez has given an update on his recovery following his injury, and of course he had to make his fans laugh while at it.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actor shared a video of himself while on anesthesia prior to the operation for his ruptured Achilles tendon. In the video, Mikael kept making basketball references.
“Undergoing a medical operation for the first time was, admittedly a bit scary but I completely forgot that anesthesia can make you quite loopy,” Mikael said in his caption.
He added that he had a 15-minute video of himself talking, but he couldn't remember any of it. “Basta, si Kobe Bryant madalas nasa kwento ko daw.”
Mikael said that recovery has gone well for him after the operation.
“It took 2 weeks before I got my stitches removed and now, it’s all about slowly regaining the ability to walk,” he said. “Can’t wait to play with Leon since he is starting to crawl and babble."
Mikael also gave a shoutout to his wife, Megan Young, for taking care of him.
Mikael and Megan, who tied the knot in 2020, welcomed their baby boy Leon in May.
Since giving birth, Megan has been sharing her journey as a mom, including her childbirth experience.
In June, the married couple celebrated becoming parents by going on a date, which, according to Megan, was also their way of making time for each other as husband and wife.
