GMA and ABS-CBN to collaborate anew with ‘Secrets of Hotel 88’ featuring 'PBB: Celebrity Collab' housemates

Several housemates of the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” are set to star in a new collaboration between GMA and ABS-CBN! 

In a video announcement shared on social media Thursday, Kapuso housemates Mika Salamanca, Will Ashley, AZ Martinez, Dustin Yu, Josh Ford and Kapamilya housemates Brent Manalo, River Joseph, Ralph De Leon, Esnyr, Bianca De Vera, Xyriel Manabat, and Kira Balinger proudly shared their new project, a teleserye called “Secrets of Hotel 88.”

According to Xyriel, Klarisse De Guzman will also be in the show. "'Wag po nating kalilimutan kasama rin natin si Mowm," she excitedly said.

“Ang nararamdaman ko ngayon, puno lang ako ng kasiyahan at excitement. Kasi ang tagal namin pinag-usapan ito sa loob ng bahay,” Will said.

“Sobrang saya po kasi siyempre, parang this is not our first time in a show. Ito po yung pinaka-minamamanifest namin before,” Esnyr added.

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, the former housemates underwent a workshop in preparation for the project. 

"Sobrang grateful kami na nabigyan kami ng chance na mag-workshop and matuto i-unlock 'yung mga skills and mag-explore pa ng mga bagong techniques," shared Dustin.

Ralph and Brent added that they have all been seriously preparing for the series. Bianca also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with the Kapuso network. 

"Working with GMA is always such a pleasure. So, to be able to be part of such a collaboration, isa siyang malaking privilege bilang isang artista," she said. 

Per the report, fans will have to wait and see whether other "PBB" housemates will join the show.

“Secrets of Hotel 88” is a family mystery drama teleserye that deals with love and friendship. It is set to air in the first quarter of 2026, with production beginning in October.

The “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” had a successful 4-month run which concluded on July 5. It featured 20 housemates from Sparkle and Star Magic. 

At the end of the season, the duo of Brent and Mika (BreKa) was hailed as big winners. — CDC/LA, GMA Integrated News
