Ben&Ben shares full 'Kapangyarihan' performance at EDSA's Trillion Peso March
A day after offering a performance at the "Trillion Peso March" held on September 21 at the EDSA People Power Monument, Ben&Ben shared their full performance of "Kapangyarihan" on social media.
On Instagram, the nine-piece folk-pop band amplified the song's message for accountability, as well as to end corruption of any kind in the country.
“Hindi na tayo papayag na walang pananagot na magaganap sa mga kurakot na pulitiko,” Ben&Ben wrote.
“Para sa Pilipinas at sa kinabukasan, magmatyag at tumindig tayong lahat,” they added.
Aside from the band, other Filipino celebrities and personalities also took part in the September 21 rallies, including Anne Curtis, Gabbi Garcia, and Khalil Ramos, to name a few. Vice Ganda was also there, and delivered powerful remarks.
Thousands of people gathered at the Rizal Park for the "Baha sa Luneta: Aksyon na Laban sa Korapsyon" and at the EDSA People Power Monument for the "Trillion Peso March."
The protests were triggered by the alleged corruption in flood control projects currently being probed in Congress and the Senate.
