Alden Richards is a fearless lawyer in ‘Out of Order’ trailer


The trailer for Alden Richards' debut directorial film, “Out of Order,” is now out!

The trailer, which aired for the first time in Aubrey Carampel’s report in “24 Oras” Monday, opened with Attorney Roman (Nonie Buencamino), a man accused of murdering a transgender woman, calling Alden's character, who is a lawyer in the film. 

While in court, Alden’s character encounters State Attorney Jennifer Templo, portrayed by Heaven Peralejo. 

As the investigation unfolds and Alden's team works to prove Roman’s innocence, they are ambushed and captured by a group of armed men. 

According to the Asia's Multimedia Star, “Out of Order” is a “courtroom drama concept.” Apart from directorial duties, Alden also stars in the film and is likewise a producer. 

“It’s about justice. It’s about always seeking the truth at the end of the day because only the truth will matter with all of the things that’s happening in our lives right now,” he said.

Aside from Alden, Heaven, and Nonie, GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes stars in the film.

Out of Order” will start streaming on Netflix on October 2.

The film previously premiered at the 2025 Jagran Film Festival in India, which ran from September 19 to 21, and at the competition section of the third Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam, which took place from June 29 to July 5.

According to Netflix, “Out of Order" is a film "about a struggling lawyer who gets his big break after his estranged father asks for legal help when he's put on trial for a murder he can't remember committing."
