Ate Gay to undergo chemo, radiation therapy with help from anonymous donor

Blessings are pouring in after Ate Guy revealed he's stage 4 cancer diagnosis on “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" Sunday.

On Facebook, the comedian shared he is set to undergo chemotherapy and radiation therapy at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center, with the help of an anonymous donor whom he referred to as his “angel.”

“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa inyong mga mensahe,” he wrote.

“Hindi ko man ma-reply-an [lahat], taos puso akong nagpapasalamat  sa sobrang dami,” he added. “Patuloy lang po ang panalangin.”

In his post, Ate Gay said he is looking for a condo or apartment unit to rent for 35 days near the hospital as he received his treatment.

Blessings indeed are pouring in for Ate Gay. Yesterday, got a surprise visit from a doctor who admitted to being a fan.

In 2021, Ate Gay overcame pneumonia and said he is on his “second life.”
