Maxene Magalona introduces Francis M’s song ‘1-800-Ninety-Six’ to the new generation

Right after the September 21 protests, Maxene Magalona took the time to remind the public of Francis M’s progressive messages.

In an Instagram post, the actress and healing advocate shared lyrics from the late Master Rapper’s song, “1-800-Ninety-Six,” a song about corruption in the Philippines.

Maxene then introduced Francis M to the younger generation, calling him a brave artist.

To end her post, Maxene has this message for the public.

Laban, Pilipinas.”

On September 21, thousands of people gathered at the Rizal Park for the "Baha sa Luneta: Aksyon na Laban sa Korapsyon" and at the EDSA People Power Monument for the "Trillion Peso March."

The street and online protests were triggered by the alleged corruption in flood control projects currently being probed in Congress and in the Senate.

Several celebrities and personalities also attended the march.
