SB19 performs 'Kapangyarihan' in Japan

SB19 continues to spread the powerful message behind "Kapangyarihan" beyond Philippine borders.

As captured by YouScooper Aleen Jay Arquero, the P-Pop Kings performed their collaboration song with Ben&Ben at their "Simula at Wakas" concert in Tokyo on Wednesday night.

The group flashed the meaningful lyrics on screen during the performance, and thrilled fans sang along.

"Kapangyarihan," released in 2021, is a song that addresses people in power, reminding them of their duty to serve the public. The song has become an anthem for those angry over the alleged corruption on flood control projects.

Ben&Ben performed the song during the Trillion Peso March at the EDSA People Power Monument, one of two major rallies in Metro Manila on September 21.

SB19 also recently shared a 34-second snippet of them singing the song.

Following the protests, the song topped the iTunes Philippines song chart.
