SB19’s Justin says he took acting lessons, fight training for ‘Sang’gre’ role Ec’naad

SB19 member Justin De Dios took up acting lessons and fight training in preparation for his role as Ec’naad in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras” Friday, Justin already had a preview of the upcoming episode where Ec’naad will make his debut.

“No’ng nag-training kami, parang kinonsider ko po siya na choreography. It’s one din na very favorite ko na scene, ‘yung fighting scenes, kasi ‘yun nga para siyang choreography, para ding sumasayaw,” Justin said.

He also admitted that he was surprised at the warm reception from the Kapuso series’ fans.

“I know na excited din po talaga ‘yung A’TIN kasi it’s something different from SB19, from performing, pero hindi ko po in-expect na marami ring Encantadiks ’yung parang na-excite sa pagpasok ko po,” he said.

Justin’s character was first seen in the recent teaser for the show’s new chapter.

"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" stars Bianca Umali, Angel Guardian, Faith Da Silva, and Kelvin Miranda.

It airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
